The 3rd Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction
held at the home of Mr.and Mrs. Frank Miller, was highly successful! Friends of the Angles Network were the benefactors of a beautiful evening while enjoying the culinary delights of Mindy's Catering, vino by Banfi Vineyards and over 60 high-end auction items to bid on. Proceeds from the event will fund continued work to benefit various groups, individuals and worthwhile causes in the year ahead. Our deepest thanks to all of our patrons. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Miller for their kindness and generosity.

A reception event was held at the Capital Grille at Tysons,
6:30 - 8:30 pm. This reception was hosted by FACETS, a Fairfax-based charitable organization helping the homeless in our own backyard.

The Angels Network to be honored at Volunteer Fairfax Awards breakfast at the Hilton Mclean Tysons Corner. Award winning columnist, Bob Levey of the Washington Post to serve as the key note speaker.

Annual Board Meeting, 6:30 - 8:00 pm, held at the home of Jill Lubore.


March 13th, 2002
Sudhakar Shenoy, CEO of IMC, hosted our reception at eCiti's at Tysons Corner. Sudhakar requested that the monies raised at this event be donated in support of the Avon Breast Cancer Walk to be held in May.


January 14, 2002
Michael Hershman, CEO of Decision Strategies, hosted the Angel’s Network reception at Sam and Harry’s. Michael’s request was for the Angels to support the Victim’s Assistance Network, a volunteer program to support victims of abuse. The Angels stepped forward and donated nearly $3,000 in cash contributions and filled a wish list of supplies and other items desperately needed by VAN.
